Nutrition
Practicing healthy eating and lifestyle habits provides the
benefit of feeling your best and reducing high risk for many
life-threatening diseases. In addition, many medical conditions
such as high blood pressure, diabetes, coronary artery, kidney
or liver disease require dietary modification.
At Angel Medical Center a Registered/Licensed Dietitian provides
individualized nutritional counseling. The Registered Dietitians
will work with each client to assess nutritional needs, individualize
meal planning, make available education and instruction, provide
professional support, and set and monitor goals for dietary
modification.
Catering
The Food and Nutrition Services Department provides catering
services for events within the hospital and for special celebrations
including graduations and special parties. We can provide
a variety of menu choices from a simple meal of soup and sandwiches
to a more elaborate meal of hot entrees, side dishes and desserts.
Catering can be delivered. For more information or to book
catering services, please contact our Catering Services Representative
by e-mail or by
phone at (828) 369-4481.
